Abbeville County School District to Hold Bus Driver Classes

Abbeville County School District will hold bus driver training classes on October 5 - 8, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Administrative Office Building at 400 Greenville Street, Abbeville, SC.  Abbeville County School District has positions available for bus drivers in the Abbeville and Due West/Donalds areas. Bus driver candidates must attend 20 hours of classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel driving time and assessment to obtain their CDL license and their State Department of Education bus driver certification. Applicants must be able to perform physical tasks as it relates to pre-trip/post-trip bus inspections, assisting students during bus evacuations, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bus.
