Lander University Early Childhood Education major, LeeAnn
Berry, is working with Susan Scott’s First Graders at Long Cane Primary in
Abbeville. Ms. Berry assisted the students as they learned about spiders using
their Scholastic News. The students learned the parts of the spider’s body.
They collected data as they completed a class tally chart to show “Do you think
spiders are creepy or cool?” The students were excited to find out that more
students thought spiders were cool. Shown are standing are Emma Prince, and
