Interact students at AHS and DHS, as well as FFA students at AHS, are helping with Mental Health Awareness month. Some students from both schools went to WZLA to discuss mental health on the morning radio show. Both groups are also helping to sell the t-shirts in the community. Ms. Raines recommended that the proceeds be split between the 3 groups, but the students decided the proceeds from the t-shirts should go back into mental health. It will be donated to Mental Health America. AHS Interact/FFA members are also preparing a script and a video to help promote mental illness in youth.
