During the month of September, our Westwood students learned the importance of Responsibilty.  Through our character education lessons, the students learned that Responsibility is showing you can be trusted with what is expected of you.  Each homeroom teacher chooses one student who displays the character trait of Responsibilty during the month.  The following students were rewarded with being the character student of the month;  Eli Hope, Laila Crawford, Maggie Jones,  Shanea McCouller, Jarid Fair, Joseph Baughman, Regarius Allen, Diamond Overholt, Keyshawn Belcher, Jacob Elliott, Bailey Seawright, Truli Brown, Victoria Calhoun, Nehemia Jackson, Sawyer Busbee, Brett Nelson, Akeyva Burton, Susan Zhang, Heidi Pickens, Faith Kent, Shamyra Miller.  “You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.” – Abrahan Lincoln
