Long Cane Primary School Principal Millie Ricketts read Tacky the Penguin by Helen Lester to Lori Glace and Shelley Chrisley’s 5 year old kindergarten students. The students loved hearing the story of this unique penguin and how he saved his friends! The students have been working on working on telling about the beginning, middle, and end of a story.  Shown here is Principal Ricketts reading to the class. Ms. Ricketts is also the Director of Membership for the Piedmont Reading Council.
